A blog is a web page that is regularly updated, usually by the site's creator typically focuses on a certain subject, topic, or theme. I can see a blog being placed on a library web page and updated with the new happenings at the library.
A wiki is a piece of software used to handle document collaboration, internal communication, document repositories, project management groups, etc. I am not sure how I would use this at this point of time, except maybe internal communications within the library.
